I recently came across the that will be teaming up with the legend that is Jean Claude Van Damme, news i have been waiting to hear for a long time. I have been a big fan of Van Damme since the early 90's and i am also very impressed with Tony Jaa, Ong Bak 1-2 being my favorites.

Van Damme was very popular back in the 80's and 90's with great movies such as Bloodsport, Kick-boxer, Hard target, Universal Soldier, Awol and many others. He had a few personal problems during the late 90's but as recently came back strong and shown he deserves to be back on the big screen. Last year he was cast as the main villain in The Expendables 2 and did a great job, he recently went to Thailand and and photographed having dinner with Jaa and they must have spoke then about making a movie together.

Tony Jaa  impressed everyone since his first major movie Ong Bak, showcasing a new style of Martial Arts and breath-taking stunts and action and it was only a matter of time before he went main stream and starred with one of Hollywood's true action greats. The news was spoke about by Thailand's “The Nation” are that Jaa as two projects in the work and one is with Van Damme, the movie could also be the film that see's Kung Fu legend Sammo Hung taking charge of the fight choreography, if this is true we are in for one hell of a movie. I would love to see Van Damme play the villain once again in this film, as he as got older, his acting as improved a great deal, movies like JCVD, In Hell and Wake Of Death are proof of this and i think after TE2, he will certainly do a great job.

Other movies on the horizon for Van Damme are as follows: U.F.O, Welcome to the Jungle and Enemies Closer and for Tony Jaa we have the long awaited sequel to Tom Yum Goong which also stars female fighting sensation Jeeja Yanin.
