The Tiger Mask is the latest manga turned movie based on the novel by Ikki Kajiwara and Naoki Tsuji. The movie is about Japanese wrestling, where Mister X recruits kids to train and become great fighters.
Plot:
The film stars Eiji Wentz as Naoto Date, a young man who grew up in an orphanage called “House for Little Rascals” along with the owner's daughter Ruriko Wakatsuki (Natsuna). As a boy, Date was taken in by a mysterious man called Mister X (Show Aikawa) who trains wrestlers in an alternate dimension called The Tiger Pit.
Mister X gives each of his three students special Tiger Masks which, when worn, allows them to instantly don a special suit that gives them enhanced fighting abilities at the cost of stamina.
Eventually, a certain incident causes Naoto to leave the group to return to the House for Little Rascals, which is now run by Ruriko. However, when a fire is started at the orphanage, Naoto believes he knows who's responsible and dons a tiger mask for a final showdown at the Tiger Pit.
