A few months ago i posted a fight clip from and her incredible hard working team which was titled Tiger Cop 2. The short fight scene reminded me off the days when Moon Lee and Yukari Oshima were in fine fighting form with hard hitting action, so i had to do a feature on there next project .

Time traveling back to the Hong Kong 80s/90s old school era, Tiger Cop III will be another embarkment action homage to the days of Moon Lee, Michelle Yeoh and Cynthia Rothrock.

The 30 second clip Tiger Cop II was shot over 2 hours in late July as a fun tribute and as a response to Yellow Zone, an 80s Hong Kong style fan action short by the German boys; Andy Long, Can Ayin and Khoi Chau, has now sparked another clip.

Reintroducing Maria Tran (Fist of the Dragon) as well as Joshua Tieu (Enter The Dojo) and with welcoming budding action actress Gemma Laurelle; the collaboration continues with (Director), Justin Gong (Director of Photography) as well as Trung Ly (Fight Choreography).

“I love Jackie Chan, Jet Li, John Woo, Yuen Woo Ping and also the Shaw Bros and films of the 70's. Tiger Cop II was just a tester and now we are getting ready to shoot the extender. I'm looking forward to stepping back into that world and delivering a pretty cool short.” says Adrian Castro.

“This is definitely going to be a fun shoot. We got breakables, wire work and some old school action to showcase!” adds Maria Tran.

Further casting will be happening in later November with production for this short film will be in December in Sydney.

Maria and the team have impressed me with very project they have released so far, there last one Gaffa was a great watch showcasing some great choreography, comedy and directing skills.

If you are yet to see the fight from Tiger Cop 2 then do not fear, as i have put the scene just below, enjoy.
