The Winner of the 68th Locarno Film Festival is Korean

“Right Now, Wrong then”, a romantic comedy by Sang Soo Hong was this years' winner of the Golden Leopard prize, the topmost award of the .

The film, in which the same romantic story is repeated twice, with different results, was the second win for the Korean in the festival, since two years ago, he won the Best Director award, for Our Sunhi.

The main lead of Right Now, Wrong Then, Jae Yeong Jeong won the Best Actor Award.

Hong, who has been internationally acclaimed since his debut, “The day a pig fell into the well”, finds his movies frequently screened in festivals around the world and was the first Korean to win the Prize Un Certain Regard in Cannes, for “Hahaha”, in 2010.

“Right Now, Wrong then” will be also screened in New York, London, Toronto and Vancouver before it is released in korean cinemas, on September 24.
