Filming has wrapped for ‘Drug King‘, director Woo Min-ho’s follow-up to his 2015 hit political thriller ‘Inside Men‘. The new film tells the story of a drug lord in 1970s’ Busan and stars Song Kang-ho and Bae Doo-na, two of South Korea’s biggest stars.
Song and Bae previously worked together in ‘Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance’, the first film in Park Chan-wook’s ‘Vengeance’ trilogy and Bong Joon-ho’s monster masterpiece ‘The Host’
Also in the cast is Jo Jung-suk (‘The Face Reader’, ‘Time Renegades’).
‘Drug King’ will open in South Korean cinemas next year.
