Director Park Hoon-jung’s movie ‘V.I.P.‘ will be screening at this year’s American Film Institute Festival. The film is a noir thriller revolving around the son of a high-ranking North Korean official, who is suspected of committing serial murders around the world. The film stars Kim Myung-min (A Day), Jang Dong-gun (No Tears for the Dead), Park Hee-soon and Lee Jong-sook. ‘V.I.P.’ is Park Hoon-jung’s fourth film, following ‘The Showdown’, ‘New World‘ and ‘The Tiger’. Park is also well known for his screenplay for the psychological thriller ‘I Saw the Devil’.
AFI takes place in Hollywood and runs until November 16th with ‘V.I.P.’ screening on the 10th and 12th.
