Trailer for New Indonesian Superhero Film “Gundala”

Indonesian director (“Kala“, “Satan's Slaves“) has completed production on his most recent film “”. The film stars Abimana Aryasatya as the titular super hero. Gundala was created by Hasmi in 1969 and has enjoyed a cult following through the long running comic book series.

“Gundala” is scheduled to be released in Indonesia on August 29, 2019. In anticipation for the films release a trailer has been made available and can be viewed below.

Synopsis

Sancaka has lived on the streets since his parents left him. Living a hard life, Sancaka survives by thinking about his own safety. When the condition of the city gets worse and injustice rages throughout the country, Sancaka must decide whether he continues to live to look after himself or rise to become their oppressed hero.
