This autumn, “Impression Taiwan” team is going to present a beautiful movie about the South Pacific island-Lanyu. “Long Time no Sea” is based on a real story of the indigenous Tao community in Lanyu, the tiny outlying Orchid Island near Taiwan. The film deals with issues of the Tao community's generations facing cultural conflict and heritage problems in modern society. The writer-director Heather Tsui spent 6 years and worked together with the local on Lanyu to make this movie. And she will be in Berlin on 20th Oct. in Kino BABYLON at 14:00!!!
