‘Tis the season for the “mystery thriller” in South Korea: thriller films with a creepy atmosphere to them or out-and-out horror thrillers. After “The Closet” and “Call” this month, March will see the release of debutante director Son Won-pyung's “Intruder”.
Synopsis
Seo-jin is a popular architect. He suffers from a trauma when his younger sister Yoo-jin went missing years ago when he was a child. 25 years after her disappearance, Yoo-jin comes back to her family. Seo-jin feels something is not right with Yoo-jin.
“Intruder” stars Song Ji-hyo (“Unstoppable“) as Yoo-jin and Kim Moo-yeol (“The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil“) as her brother Seo-jin. Providing the two support are veteran actors Ye Soo-jung (“Herstory”) and Choi Sang-hoon.
