K-Drama Trailer: Hush (2020) by Kim Jung-min and Choi Gyoo-sik

Eight years since starring in the under-performing “Hanbando” aka “Korean Peninsula”, Hwang Jung-min is all set to make his long-awaited return to the k-drama format with “” alongside and now we have the first posters and trailer for you.

Synopsis

“Hush” is a two-way growth period between Han Joon-hyeok (), a ‘stagnant' reporter who plays snooker more than he writes with a pen, and Lee Jee-soo (Yoona), a ‘survival-type' intern who says food is stronger than a pen, and depicts the bread-and-butter life of salary-based reporters. Ordinary reporters, who are no different from us, and their stories of constantly bumping and shaking at the border of survival and conscience unfold pleasantly and honestly in “Hush”.

“Hush” will start its 16-episodes run on Korean broadcasting channel JTBC from December 11th, 2020.

About the author

Rhythm Zaveri

Hello, my name is Rhythm Zaveri. For as long as I can remember, I've been watching movies, but my introduction to Asian cinema was old rental VHS copies of Bruce Lee films and some Shaw Bros. martial arts extravaganzas. But my interest in the cinema of the region really deepened when I was at university and got access to a massive range of VHS and DVDs of classic Japanese and Chinese titles in the library, and there has been no turning back since.

An avid collector of physical media, I would say Korean cinema really is my first choice, but I'll watch anything that is south-east Asian. I started contributing to Asian Movie Pulse in 2018 to share my love for Asian cinema in the form of my writings.
