Film Clinic Holding Convenes Its First Board Meeting; Announcing Its Board Members

In partnership between Mohamed Hefzy, Amr Salama alongside Ergo Media Ventures

In a mission towards enriching the film industry through development, production, and distribution at the Arab and regional levels; The Board of Directors of — a leading corporation in all facets of artistic and cinematic production in the Arab world founded by renowned screenwriter and producer Mohamed Hefzy and director Amr Salama along with Ergo Media Ventures, a subsidiary of AYADY for Investment and Development — recently convened its first board meeting to discuss the company's institutional transformation plans.

The Board of Directors is presided by Eng. Usama El-Sheikh; Former chief of the state's TV and radio. The formation of the Board of Directors took into consideration the inclusion of the finest specialists in all technological, production, managerial, and legal aspects; working in the areas of media, creative, and digital production. A combination that aims to achieve the company's vision in reaching excellence in film and TV production in reference to global standards; aligned with the vision of the Egyptian state towards creating investment opportunities that are influential in reformulating the media and art scene and leading sustainable development.

The Board Members are: 

  • Former head of the Media Chamber Eng. Amr Fathy 
  • Legal Counsel Mohamed Hossam Lotfy 
  • Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Mohamed Fahmy 
  • Mohamed Hefzy â€” a renowned screenwriter & Producer, former President of the Cairo International Film Festival, and Film Clinic's Founder and CEO 
  • Amr Salama â€” a renowned writer and director and a shareholder in Film Clinic Holding.  
  • Managing Director of the Investment Sector at NI Capital Hazem Kamel 
  • Head of the Investment Sector in the Post for Investment Gamal Gemea 
  • Eng. Eslam Yassin â€” an expert in institutional transformation and restructuring strategies

According to the statement, Film Clinic Holding's Chairman Eng. Usama El-Sheikh said: “The Board of Directors' prominent and combined experiences aim to create the production company; studio model that will be an industry pioneer in the Arab region in film, television, and digital production sectors. In accordance with Egypt's leadership and historical status. Ergo Media Ventures will work to develop the company's institutional framework so that it becomes one of the top businesses in Egypt and the Middle East, delivering material from Egyptian and Arab film projects to audiences worldwide via conventional and digital distribution channels,” said Kamel.
