Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 Winners

Zig Dulay's Green Bones was the big winner at Metro Manila Film Festival 2024

This year’s MMFF was another success for , who after 2023 and Firefly, also grabbed the Best Movie award this year, with ““, a prison drama film starring Dennis Trillo, who also won the award for Best Actor. “Green Bones” actually went for a number of awards, additionally netting Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Child Performer. The event broke box office records too, with a 45% increase in opening weekend compared to previous edition.

Panagiotis (Panos) Kotzathanasis is a film critic and reviewer, specialized in Asian Cinema. He is the owner and administrator of Asian Movie Pulse, one of the biggest portals dealing with Asian cinema.
