Yen Press, LLC continues to captivate readers with its latest acquisitions, announcing a diverse lineup of twenty-one new titles slated for release in July 2025. Ranging from highly anticipated light novels to fresh manga adaptations, this collection promises an exciting mix of fantasy, romance, adventure, and supernatural tales.

Among the standout acquisitions, Yen Press’s middle-grade imprint, JY for Kids, makes history with its first-ever picture book, “Memen & Mori”, by award-winning children’s book author Shinsuke Yoshitake. Known for his witty and heartfelt storytelling, Yoshitake presents an endearing tale about two siblings—Memen, the calm and collected elder sister, and Mori, the inquisitive younger brother—who navigate life’s biggest questions together. Through humorous and touching moments, the book imparts wisdom in the most delightful ways, making complex concepts accessible to young readers.

Yoshitake has garnered critical acclaim for his previous works, including “There Must Be More Than That!”, named a New York Times Notable Children’s Book of the Year in 2020, and “The Boring Book”, which earned a spot in The New York Times/New York Public Library Best Illustrated Children’s Books list in 2019. Priced at $20.00 USD / $26.00 CAN, “Memen & Mori” is poised to be another celebrated addition to his portfolio.

Meanwhile, Yen Press’s summer slate features six new light novels, including “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Collector’s Edition”, a deluxe re-release of the beloved fantasy series; “[] Spica of the First Star”, a companion novel to the hit manga; and “Sword of Stallion, Vol. 1”, an exciting new adventure by Gakuto Mikumo.
