Badass Showdown is the latest movie from female martial arts legend Cynthia Rothrock and if you live State side, you can grab this DVD from the 2nd April.
Martial Art fans should remember who Cynthia Rothrock is, as she starred in many Hong Kong movies and America movies such as Righting Wrongs (Yuen Biao), Shanghai Express (Sammo Hung), China O'Brien and Yes, Madam (Michelle Yeoh).
Plot:
MMA fighter manager Ivy Reed (Cynthia Rothrock) is a woman in a male-dominated field, using a special formula to find her fighters. Though her trainer doesn't see eye to eye with her, he works with her latest crop of auditions to see which will have the career making boost of being managed by Ivy.
The acting from the co-stars don't look that great at all, but it looks like one of those cheesy 80's movies, so even though the acting might not be great by her co-stars, hopefully the fighting will make up for it. It is amazing that Cynthia is now 56 years of age, she looks great.
