In celebration of the theme of “Women In Action” for the Australian network channel Foxtel's Chatterbox TV segment, Maria Tran and her mini crew spent a good, quick and efficient 2 hour shoot and nutted out “Tiger Cop II”.
“Tiger Cop II” is a homage to all those 80s Hong Kong martial arts action flicks with Donnie Yen, Cynthia Rothrock and Moon Lee, a time when power shoulder pads, dark eye shadow, and bling was in.
I love the opening logo which reminds me of the good old days of Shaw Brothers which always gives you a good feeling before the movie or fight scene even starts. This here is a quick fight scene which takes me back to the days of Cynthia Rothrock, Moon Lee and Yukari Oshima, with fast paced, hard hitting action. I have followed Maria's and her crews work now for a while and they always deliver, if you haven't seen there movie “Hit Girls” yet, then be sure to check it out.
