Jackie Chan’s Shanghai Dawn Moves A Step Closer

The latest news spreading across the internet at the moment is that MGM (Who did the first two movies) are making big steps towards a third installment, something i am sure all Jackie fans will be excited about.

was released back in 2000 and the second (Shanghai Knights) released 3 years later, so why has it taken 12 years (Yes 12 years) before planning a third? Jackie has always stated he would love to make a third along with actor Owen Wilson, but insisted the script must be right. I loved the first two, Shanghai Noon being my favorite which also featured Yuen Biao as a stunt double and he also helped with the action choreography.

It will be interesting to see where this movie location ends up, Shanghai Noon was East meets West, Shanghai Knights they traveled to England, so what will happen in the third installment? I am happy this is happening, i prefer this movie over another Rush Hour all day long.
