Film Clinic is set to dominate the lineup of the highly anticipated third edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival — which is scheduled to run from Nov 30, 2023 – Sat, Dec 9, 2023 — with the prolific production and distribution shingle boasting four of its titles in the festival. Coming in first in Arab Spectacular section titles Hajjan and Four Daughters. In Competition — BACKSTAGE and showcasing in the Festival Favourites section — ANIMALIA.

Abu Bakr Shawky‘s latest HAJJAN, produced by the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) & Film Clinic. It had its World Premiere in the Toronto International Film Festival.– It is also produced by Mohamed Hefzy and Majed Zuhair Samman, co-produced by The
Imaginarium Films’ Rula Nasser, and distributed by Film Clinic Indie Distribution in the Arab world while Film Constellation has the
worldwide rights. It revolves around brothers Matar and Ghanim, who live in the endless desert of Saudi Arabia. When tragedy strikes, young Matar takes matters into his own hands and signs up for a camel race to keep his camel Hofira in this timeless coming-of-age drama.Written by Omar Shama, Mufarrij Almajfel, and Abu Bakr Shawky. HAJJAN stars Abdul Mohsen Al-Nemr, Omar Al-Atawi, Al-Shaimaa Tayeb, Azzam Nemr, Toleen Barbood, and Ibrahim Al-Hassawi.

Kaouther Ben Hania‘s FOUR DAUGHTERS — is Tunisia’s official submission for Best Foreign Film at the 96th Academy Awards. The film
was also the sole Arab contender for the prestigious Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, garnering immense acclaim and significant media
attention. FOUR DAUGHTERS seamlessly blends documentary and drama, showcasing the remarkable presence of legendary actress Hend
Sabry.

And In Competition — BACKSTAGE, directed by Afef Ben Mahmoud and Khalil Benkirane. The film World premiered at the 2023 Venice Film Festival’s parallel section, the Giornate degli Autori. BACKSTAGE is a Film Clinic Co-production and MENA distributed by Film Clinic Indie Distribution. Starring Abdallah Badis, Saleh Bakri, and Afef Ben Mahmoud, BACKSTAGE follows the dance group Without Borders, who as they prepare to end their tour in Morocco — suffer a series of unfortunate events.

Last but not least, showcasing in the Festival Favourites section; ANIMALIA, written and directed by the French Moroccan filmmaker Sofia Alaoui. Animalia had its World Premiere at the Sundance Film Festival were it had outstanding success, winning the World Cinema –
Dramatic Special Jury Award. Starring Oumaïma Barid, Mehdi Dehbi, and Fouad Oughaou, Alaoui’s genre-bending film ANIMALIA follows a pregnant young lady in Morocco whose life is turned upside down by an extraterrestrial invasion. Film Clinic Indie Distribution acquired the rights across the Middle East and North Africa.
