Watch: The Trailer for Korean Action Noir ‘The Merciless’ — Intense and Gripping!

Helmed by director Byun Sung-hyun, features seasoned actor (Cold Eyes) and rising star (The Attorney).

Inmate Jae-ho (played by Sul), who lords over his jail, welcomes an intrepid young inmate, Hyun-soo (played by Im) under his wing. Upon their release from jail, they work hand in glove to seize power in Jae-ho's erstwhile crime syndicate. When the story navigates a series of reveals, suspicions grow and feuds arise between the two.

CJ Entertainment will release the film nationwide next month.

My name is Panos Kotzathanasis and I am Greek. Being a fan of Asian cinema and especially of Chinese kung fu and Japanese samurai movies since I was a little kid, I cultivated that love during my adolescence, to extend to the whole of SE Asia.
