Dragon Blade is an upcoming historical action movie starring the legend Jackie Chan and directed by Daniel Lee (14 Blades, Dragon Squad). The movie also stars John Cusack, Adrien Brody, Choi Siwon, Benny “The Jet” Urquidez and many more. John Cusack will play Roman general Lucius in the film whilst Brody will play a Roman general who is willing to kill at any cost.
Plot:
Set in 48BC, “Dragon Blade” revolves around Huo An (Chan), a Chinese commander who is tasked with protecting China's Western borders during the Han dynasty. Huo is accused of treason and winds up as a slave laborer, but he still manages to rally the Chinese forces to repel a small invading Roman army led by Lucius. However, an even great challenge looms for Huo – he must find a way to stop the ambitious Tiberius, who marches towards the Chinese border gate with a vast army.
It is great to see Benny back in a movie with Jackie Chan. There past two fights have been incredible and go down as 2 of the best modern day showdowns, Wheels On Meals and Dragons Forever. So i hope they turn back time and have one fight in this movie. I am looking forward to this movie and cant wait to see my favorite of all time, Jackie Chan back on the big screen.
