The schedule for the 2017 London Korean Film Festival was recently announced, and one of the highlights has got to be the Joseon Era action drama ‘Warriors of the Dawn'.
Warriors of the Dawn (2017) starring Lee Jung-jae (Operation Chromite) and Yeo Jin-gu (Hwayi: A Monster Boy, 2013) was filmed almost entirely outdoors, as a guerilla style road movie, following a group of mercenaries tasked with protecting the newly crowned prince.
The film was recently nominated for 2 awards at the upcoming Grand Bell Awards aka Daejong Film Awards ( The Korean equivalent of the Academy Awards / Oscars).
We have teamed up with The London Korean Film Festival to give away 2 free tickets to a special showing of ‘Warriors of the Dawn' at the PictureHouse Canal in London on the 27th October 6:30pm.
As a special bonus , director Jeong Yoon-cheol will also be in attendance for a Q&A session.
