Music Video: Plastic Love by Chai

Japanese band Chai offer up a cover of the iconic City Pop ballad by Mariya Takeuchi.

Hailing from Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, the four-member all female rock ground has made a name for their selves here in the west, with their 2017 debut album Pink seeing favorable reviews from various music sites. For their most recent single, covers the iconic “Plastic Love” by ‘City Pop' standout .

The video is directed by Takahiro Shimoyama with cinematography from Yoshio Nakaiso. Paying homage to the retro genre that embraced a love of ‘big city' Japan, the music video features the group happily exploring an urban landscape.
