“Jugando Con Fuego” (working title) is a collaboration with R4 Films and Deviant Children Productions, a first for both of these indie Action filmmakers. The film, a revenge thriller set in Tijuana, Mexico, is set to film in July 2021 and the online buzz is starting to grow.
The film stars action great Robert Samuels (Gambling Ghost) in his first leading role, which he also will produce along side Robert Jefferson and James Santi. Robert has had an amazing journey, going over the Hong Kong in the 90's to work with the very best in the business, which includes Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Yuen Woo Ping, Lau Kar Wing, Billy Chow, James Tien and many more.
The Action will be choreographed by Robert Samuels, Orlando Cruz and Hector Soria, who is also set to be the film's lead villain alongside action filmmaker/actor Jose Manuel. Nicholas Ortiz of Deviant Children Productions will be both Director and Cinematographer.
“Retired CIA agent James Forge is left for dead after a brutal attack on his home by cartel leader Tony Lobo (Soria). Traveling to Mexico, Forge, with help of a Federale Agent, dives head first in seeking payback, but the final cost may be too high even for him.”
About Director Nicholas Ortiz
Nicholas Ortiz is a filmmaker and cinematography based in his hometown of New York City. Starting off in the horror film genre, Nick transitioned into the action genre with great acclaim with his last action short film, “Black Betty”, being developed into a limited series. He currently runs Deviant Children Productions with partner Orlando Cruz and frequently works with Hector Soria of Team One Take. Deviant Children Productions was founded by Nick in 2009, since then creating over 25 short films, feature films and music videos.
