Hello there! has many films lined up for October ranging from animation to melodramas that dive into topics of youths, multiracialism, nationality and grief.

Mirage

“Mirage” traces five protagonists who are thrust into their respective predicament, blurring their moral compass and putting their principles to a test. In each of these stories, “Mirage” is a social commentary on how things are not as black and white, where the line between what is right and wrong becomes ambiguous, like the optical illusion that produces a displaced image which the series is named after.

Still mourning the death of his late grandmother, a shy and reclusive teenage boy spends the last days in his childhood listening to her favourite song on the cassette player she left him. The day before moving out, he loses the precious heirloom in the process. With time ticking, he must find it quickly before his parents realise – and before he loses the song forever.

The mother daughter relationship is the centre of the constant inner struggles both have to go through and how a simple meal can uncover so many hidden feelings and anger.

The year is 2121. Police officer ASP LEE's proposal to travel back in time to solve a gruesome murder of three children gets approved. The case is closed eventually but the team decides to risk committing an offence to get to the bottom of the mystery murder.

On an auspicious night, a woman grappling with grief stumbles upon a peculiar connection with an enigmatic stranger at a discotheque.
