Director July Jung had one of the most promising debuts last decade when her film “A Girl at My Door”, starring Bae Doona and Kim Sae-ron, released back in 2014. However, she has since then been quiet, with no news of a future project forthcoming all this while, with fans resigning to the fact that they might not see a new film from her again.
That worry now stands discounted as production quietly kicked off yesterday, January 16th 2022, on her second feature film tentatively titled “Next So-hee”. Once again, joining Jung in bringing the story to screen is her leading lady from her debut, Bae Doona.
No other details regarding the story or the rest of the cast is currently available but can be expected to be forthcoming in the next few months.
