On a remote island, a girl named Sejin (No Jung-wei) leaves a will and throws herself from a precipice. After returning from leave, Kim Hess, a detective, is ordered to paper up the girl’s disappearance as a suicide and visits a remote island. Sejin is on probation in the village as an important reference for the case involving her dead father, and Hyun-so is heartbroken by her loneliness and anguish as she hears from the former detectives in charge of her protection and the last deaf women who witnessed her. She feels that she and her life are similar, and gradually empathy.
