Shi-heon (Jin Sun-kyu) is a former boxer and a 1988 Olympic gold medallist. Ten years later, in 1998, he works as an ordinary high school physical education teacher. He has a stubborn personality where he doesn't care or listen to others. One day, he hears about a student named Yoon-woo (Sung Yoo-bin) who is an excellent boxer. Yoon-woo had competed in a boxing tournament, but despite his elite boxing skills, lost the fight due to match fixing. Shi-heon is incensed hearing about what happened and decides to start a boxing club at his school. His wife Il-sun (Oh Na-ra) and the school's principal (Ko Chang-seok) are unhappy about his decision, but troublemaker Shi-heon gets natural-born rebel Yoon-woo and others to join the boxing club.
