We have just learned of the tragic death of Iranian film director Dariush Mehrjui and his wife, both brutally murdered by thieves.
Dariush Mehrjui was president of the international jury at the 11th Vesoul IFF Asian Cinemas 2005. VIFFAC has presented many films by this great director: Bemani, Leila, The Cow, ….

My name is Panos Kotzathanasis and I am Greek. Being a fan of Asian cinema and especially of Chinese kung fu and Japanese samurai movies since I was a little kid, I cultivated that love during my adolescence, to extend to the whole of SE Asia.
