“I decided to start my directorial career with a horror film. Yes, I have experience in short films, but I have never shot a full-length feature film” – director Leonid Khromov told reporters.

I currently have over 12 film projects in development with a total production budget of over $1 billion, but I am confident that I need to start my career with this project. I spent 10 years organizing beauty contests, incl. international, that's why I had such a desire to make a film about a beauty contest in the genres of horror, thriller and mystery. And it seems to me that the plot of my horror film is very unusual and unique, and we can quickly find investors and make money on this film by investing the proceeds in our other film projects.

The director plans to begin filming in 2024. At the moment, the director is choosing locations for filming among California, New York, Nevada and Florida.

On paper I am an Italian living in London, in reality I was born and bread in a popcorn bucket. I've loved cinema since I was a little child and I’ve always had a passion and interest for Asian (especially Japanese) pop culture, food and traditions, but on the cinema side, my big, first love is Hong Kong Cinema. Then - by a sort of osmosis - I have expanded my love and appreciation to the cinematography of other Asian countries. I like action, heroic bloodshed, wu-xia, Shaw Bros (even if it’s not my specialty), Anime, and also more auteur-ish movies. Anything that is good, really, but I am allergic to rom-com (unless it’s a HK rom-com, possibly featuring Andy Lau in his 20s)"
