Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah All Set to Bring Another Milestone Gujarati Movie – Fakt Purusho Maate

Producer  and  have announced their next Gujarati film, ‘'. After the massive success of family entertainer ‘Fakt Mahilao Maate' and ‘Tron Ekka' respectively in 2022 and 2023, Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah have gathered again for the path breaking new Gujarati movie.  

The story is set during the sacred 16 days of Shraadh (Kaagvas). Purshottam () descends to earth from the afterlife to break his grandson Brijesh's () marriage with his childhood love () with all sorts of magic powers up his sleeve. All hells are going to break loose in this absurd comedy of errors, where a spirit pits itself against his grandchild—old, outdated principles vs. the current. The heart of this magical story aims to break the notions of generational patriarchy and support gender equality.

“Fakt Purusho Maate” is an upcoming cinematic gem written and directed by the visionary minds of Jay Bodas and Parth Trivedi. Led by an ensemble star-studded cast featuring Superstar Yash Soni, Esha Kansara, , Darshan Jariwala, and . This cinematic masterpiece will hit the big screens on Janmastami 2024.

Marking the third consecutive collaboration in Gujarati cinema, the dynamic duo of Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah have once again joined forces. Their previous two cinematic triumphs, “Fakt Mahilao Maate” and “Tron Ekka,” emerged as blockbusters, scaling the heights of box office glory in the year 2022 and 2023, respectively.

Producer Anand Pandit shares, “We are still keeping one star cast name secret and will reveal it closer to the film release. We all know Fakt Mahilao Maate had Mr Amitabh Bachchan in special appearance. This film also has a surprise element to woo the audience.”

Vaishal Shah adds, “With every film we want to bring families to the theatre with good values and bonding. We always take our culture and tradition together. This film is a hilarious one and audience will defiantly resonate with it.”
