JFF Plus is bringing the best of today’s Japanese cinema to you with the JFF Plus: Online Festival

In October 2020, the launched the redesigned JFF Plus website to share the attraction of Japanese film, as a part of its Japanese Film Festival (JFF) Project, along with in-person film screenings around the world.

offers Read, Watch, and Join sections to experience this moment in Japanese film as new hits continue to be released.

For those who want to learn more about Japanese films, the Read section shares offers articles and columns with information on newly released Japanese films, the latest trends in Japanese cinema, and interviews with Japanese filmmakers and actors.

In the Watch section, we will stream 30 Japanese films online this year, which can be enjoyed for free in 20 countries.

The Join section is a place for sharing the latest Japanese Film Festival (JFF) news and event information.

The Japan Foundation will hold the JFF Plus: Online Festival in 20 countries around the world to bring you 30 Japanese films ranging from the latest hits to always popular anime and the classics. For 10 days from November 20, the festival will come to Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia. The film festival will make its way through each of the five continents by March 2021.
