Top 5 Best Anime Series to Watch on a First Date

Should you connect with another site user on a dating platform, you’ll inevitably start considering possible locations or activities for your first get-together. Dating sites are fantastic outlets for finding prospective partners based on compatibility, but only by connecting in the real world do relationships become truly exciting. This is why watching Anime would be worth considering. These hand-drawn or computer animations are full of brilliant artwork and captivating storylines – perfect for courting couples. With that being said, dating specialists from loveonside.com conducted a survey and based on it they’ve chosen five of the most popular anime series for your first date.

Psycho-Pass

Like a lot of Anime storylines, the action here unfolds in a future society that has become authoritarian, a dystopian nightmare where passers-by are subjected to having their mental states scanned by public sensors. This so-called Sibyl System is a powerful computer network, and the result of each of these assessments is what gives this Anime feature its title – these are called a Psycho Pass. As well as indicating an individual’s state of mind, these passes reveal someone’s potential to become a criminal. If this condition improves, it is known as clearing; if it declines, it is called clouding. Should this pass rise above the acceptable level (100) then the authorities organize a pursuit. As dystopian nightmares go, this is a compelling Anime series for your date night.

Attack on Titan

This Anime series is amongst the most visually impressive you will come across. The setting is Shiganshina, a town located close to three circular walls that protect the inhabitants from fearsome man-eating Titans, known to have devoured the remaining humans outside this protective shield a century beforehand. When the outer wall is breached by armored Titans, the remaining people have to retreat behind what is known as Wall Rose. When the central protagonist Eren loses his mother to a hungry Titan, and his father disappears, there is only one course of action to contemplate. Revenge. So he joins the military.

Sirius the Jaeger

Here the action centers around an age-old horror trope that does crop up in Anime series, and always to excellent effect – vampires and werewolves. We flashback to 1930, when a group of vampires is forced to flee to Japan from China, only to be followed by a Jaeger – a vampire hunter, undercover as employees of a shipping company. One of this clan is named Yuliy, a werewolf who has good reason for seeking justice for the vampires – his home village was destroyed by them. You and your partner will quickly find yourselves enthralled by this captivating Anime, with well-rounded characters and exciting adventures.

Last Hope

The action takes place in Hawaii, at the Maunaloa Institute for International Studies. The class alpha male, Hiro, confesses to classmates Ikuko, Colleen, and Alvin that he is a prince from another dimension, and he has been forced to flee that parallel world to escape the clutches of a villain, Lord Kumagai. There are more hostile denizens in this alternative universe than the evil lord, and as the trio gets dragged into Hiro’s turmoil, they must survive against frequently nerve-shredding confrontations.

The Promised Neverland

Currently boasting over 25 million copies in circulation, including digital versions, The Promised Neverland is one of the best-selling Anime series of all time, as well as being award-winning. Perfect for a first date. Set in the not-too-distant future, Emma is an orphan living a sheltered but comfortable life. But Emmas and her friends make the startling discovery that this tranquil lifestyle is a front. They must escape the clutches of demons who are plotting to harvest these unsuspecting victims for food. Traumatic? Of course. Entertaining? Hugely!
