Ryoo Seung-wan may be known as a blockbuster action film director, but for Leessang‘s MV of “Ballerino“, he shows a different side to his art, making an almost grotesque horror of sorts revolving around an obsessive love.
Ryoo Seung-wan’s brother, actor Ryoo Seung-bum, is good friends with Gary and Gil, the duo that form Leessang and has featured in three music videos for them. For this one, in addition to agreeing to feature in their video for the second time, he was also able to convince his brother to direct the MV.
“Ballerino” is from “Black Sun”, the fourth studio album by Leessang.
