Dragonball Z Movies Ranked From Worst to Best

Introduction

There has been numerous rankings, opinions and reviews of each of the Dragon Ball Z movies, based on different criteria and on individual and collective points of view. Yet, most of those rankings agreed on the fact that the last movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly is worthy of the top spot. This movie was released in 2018, three years after the release of the last film of the series, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly

The whole idea was written by Akira Toriyama who continued in coming up with eye-catching story twists and Tatsuya Nagamine was the director of this specific movie while the whole project costed 8.5 million USD. The film presents two series protagonists Goku and Vegeta,who will encounter a powerful Saiyan named Broly in the course of the movie, while also telling the background stories of these three Saiyansand their different destinies. In fact, their fate connected them to each other through periods of undecision and race that led to massive fights and battles. The movie received a 7,9/10 rating on imdb and had an unprecedented success among the whole Dragon Ball series.

Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn

Then, Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn would come second since this was an excellent movie was appreciated by the large majority of Anime lovers and even Latest Casino or betting players. It was released in 1995, directed by Yamauchi Shigeyasu with a budget of 23.5 million USD. And according to many experts, websites and reviews, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ can be considered as the third best Dragon Ball Z movie since it included Frieza,who has long been one of Dragon Ball’s best villains. The existence of such a character in a pivotal role in the movie made it even more appealing to the viewers, especially when knowing that part of the plot included the fact that Frieza made his way to Earth toto use Dragon Balls to resurrect himself, while Goku and Vegeta tried to prevent him from doing so by resorting to fights.

This film was directed by Tadayoshi Yamamuro and was released onApril 18, 2015 with a budget of 5 million USD. It got some very good ratings with 7.3/10 for example in imbd, and this highlights the fact that this was one of the best Dragon Ball Z movies and that it deserves a top 3 spot.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods

Next comes Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods in the fourth position since this relatively recent movie was outstanding on many aspects. The story was based on telling the story of The God Of Destruction, Beerus, who was introduced to the film after he knew about Frieza’s defeat at the hands of Goku, and therefore, he planned to take revenge and this resulted in endless battles with Goku who transformed into a Super Saiyan 3 in order to be able to face this tough enemy. A lot of other events happen at the same time that mainly includes Vegeta, Goku and The God Of Destruction. This movie was produced by Rioko Tominaga and Gyarmath Bogdan and was directed by Masahiro Hosoda as it was released on March 30, 2013.

Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon and the rest of the movies

Then, Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon would come next, ahead of Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan, Dragon Ball: The Path to Power, Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound, Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge, Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13!, Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler, Dragon Ball Z: Tree of Might, Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone, Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure, Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies, Dragon Ball Z: The World’s Strongest, Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil’s Castle, Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug, Dragon Ball Z: Broly – Second Coming and Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly.

These last few movies were the ones that received fewer good ratings and were not very appreciated by the public, knowing that Dragon Ball’s most recent movies were the ones that received almost the best ratings and made the best-selling numbers overall. And in the meanwhile, a second Dragon Ball Super film is now being in development after the release of Dragon Ball Super: Brolyand it could be released in the near future.
