Hong Kong Classic Noir My Heart is That Eternal Rose Makes a Rare Appearance in the UK

Available between April 23-25 for 48 hours ONLY, Patrick Tam's overlooked gangster-romance will be released in the “Hong Kong, Reimagined” programme, as part of the ongoing .

For ‘heroic bloodshed' fans outside of Hong Kong, ‘' is something of a holy grail: an elusive and hard to come by film with an ending shootout that has long been said to rival the work of John Woo.

Often overlooked, ‘Eternal Rose' is a classic piece of Hong Kong cinema. It combines both European inspired cinematic style and the economical sufficiency in storytelling. In 2018, Far East Film Festival resurfaced this hidden gem by including the film in its Special Presentation.
