Entalex Platform launches to connect Talent and Production Jobs for the Asia-Pacific Entertainment Industry

(Worldwide Entertainment Talent Exchange), a fully integrated single platform for entertainment professionals to better manage availability and interactions  for jobs and projects in the Asia-Pacific entertainment industry has launched. This will streamline the  process of hiring talent, production, and crew available to work as the entertainment industry starts up  again in this post-pandemic market. The need for a database to easily connect with experienced Asian Pacific actors, production, and crew in this industry is paramount to advancement and inclusion as we  step forward in this industry. For most US-based Hollywood productions, Asian actors are rarely cast in  mainstream TV and Films, at a time when not only are opportunities for leads scarce, but so are Asian  and Pacific Islander extras. There is no reason to not integrate more Asians into big Hollywood  productions that are being shot or produced overseas. Entalex bridges the gap by being a fully integrated cloud-based software that enables casting directors and agents to source and hire talent,  production, and crew for film, television, commercial, digital content, and modeling projects worldwide.

Entalex's goal is to connect Hollywood to Asia and Asia to Hollywood when it comes to hiring professional  talent and crew internationally. Currently, there are not any casting or crew platforms like Entalex within  the Asia-Pacific entertainment industry, which can make it challenging to find professional talent,  production, and crew for local productions–and especially for U.S. productions–looking to film overseas.  Our platform makes the casting process and hiring of crew more efficient for all production companies,  casting directors, producers, etc. saving them time and money,” explains Principal of Entalex, Devin Reeve  (PGA, PGE, SAG/AFTRA).

For years now, our industry has been accepting that we need a change, and it needs to include more  marginalized talent on both sides of the camera. This would be impossible to do in a speedy fashion  unless we can change the perceived desires of the consumers. How can we possibly change what  consumers consider good and worthy content, if the majority of TV and Films do not include those that  have been marginalized, and thereby influence Hollywood to move toward equality in a more-timely  manner?
