Marc Haaz, born May 8, 1988 in Besançon, lived in Frotey-les-Vesoul, and was educated at the Jean Macé college, after graduating from Haberges high school. His teachers noticed his pronounced taste for culture: member of the Young Jury of the International Festival of Asian Cinemas, organizer of theatrical performances and sword fights.
He continued his cinema studies in Metz and took drama lessons.
From 2009, he worked in film production and appeared in television series on Arte.

In 2010, he officially joined FICA. His multiple skills and his exceptional qualities led him to become the technical director.
In 2012, he founded OSPROD Studios.
In 2011 and 2012 two of his short films Night Shadows and La Note du Pianiste were selected at the Cannes Film Festival at the Short Film Corner.
In 2021, Metronome, his latest short film, gained the attention of several international festivals.
He was to distribute John Denver Trending by Arden Roz Condez (Philippines), as well as Entre deux trains by Pierre Filmon, which is scheduled for release on November 10, 2021.

He was very involved in the associative world: Rêves, Vesulium, FICA, School of dance, … he was also an organizer of shows.

Marc Haaz was a truly bright individual as a human, professional, in his cultural qualities and his unfailing loyalty in friendship. It is an immeasurable loss for Vesoul, Haute-Saone, the associative world and the world of cinema.

Panos Kotzathanasis

My name is Panos Kotzathanasis and I am Greek. Being a fan of Asian cinema and especially of Chinese kung fu and Japanese samurai movies since I was a little kid, I cultivated that love during my adolescence, to extend to the whole of SE Asia.

Starting from my own blog in Greek, I then moved on to write for some of the major publications in Greece, and in a number of websites dealing with (Asian) cinema, such as Taste of Cinema, Hancinema, EasternKicks, Chinese Policy Institute, and of course, Asian Movie Pulse. in which I still continue to contribute.

In the beginning of 2017, I launched my own website, Asian Film Vault, which I merged in 2018 with Asian Movie Pulse, creating the most complete website about the Asian movie industry, as it deals with almost every country from East and South Asia, and definitely all genres.
