Namiko (HIROYAMA Kotoha) is a caregiver who was abused and abandoned by her mother Hanae (MIMURA Tae) when she was young. She has to care for her mother who now has dementia, thereby reviving Namiko’s memories of her painful past. One day a sister-in-law visits and Namiko struggles between affection and hatred for her parent.
This film directed by SOEJIMA Shingo who is also an actor, with the screenplay by HARU Jun.
