Jules Gouillon was born in 1996 in Vesoul. After a Literary Baccalaureate at the Lycée des Haberges in 2013, a BTS Business Unit Manager at IMEA Vesoul in 2016 and a Bachelor in Event Project Manager at the Institut Français des Affaires de Metz in 2018, he created his company in 2019, which he named Bad Kid Productions.
Now a party host and creator of audiovisual and cinematographic content, Jules Gouillon has a special passion for music and cinema, for many years now. In 2020, he directed his first short fiction film, “The Incredible Quotidien of a Young French Couple”, selected in several online festivals. In 2021, “Possible”, a commissioned documentary short film and, “ATTILA”, another fictional short film which will see the light of day. The latter was selected at the 36th International Film Festival Entrevues de Belfort the same year, as part of the New Talents Course supervised by APARR, the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and the CNC.
In addition to being a director and screenwriter, Jules Gouillon is also a songwriter. In 2021, he composed the original music for Marc Haaz's latest short film, “Métronome”. He is shooting his next project in January 2022, which he will offer to film festivals.
Noticed by Martine and Jean-Marc Thérouanne, Director and General Delegate of Vesoul IFF Asian Cinemas, they offered him to first sit on the Young Jury of the Vesoul International Festival of Asian Cinemas for a few years. In the face of his enthusiasm, his joie de vivre, his optimism, his motivation, his determination and his abilities, they invited him to join the Festival's technical team as a volunteer in 2018, then to become part of the Communication department. They charge him with the maintenance of the website and the management of social networks. They also entrusted him with the realization of the trailer for the 28th FICA Vesoul 2022 and the composition of the music that accompanies it.
