Another historical fantasy action-adventure set during the Zhou Dynasty and featuring intrepid hero, Detective Dee. When the Governor of Yuzhou arranges a ghost marriage for his prematurely deceased son, the corpse of the bride suddenly turns into a white skeleton and those slaughtered also eerily become bones of the dead. A note referring to her death leads a furious Empress Wu to order a beautiful expert, Yuchi Qing, to assist the good Detective with the investigations. Detective Dee is suspicious of Li Zhen, a descendant of the Li family and the Duke of Yue. But Li Zhen also comes under attack and in the melee between Detective Dee and the skeletons, all the victims merge into one giant skeleton general. For a case shrouded in mystery, can Detective Dee expose the culprit to restore justice?
Directed by Wu Chengfeng and with a cast including He Gang and Cen Ming, Skeleton General is now screening on iQiyi in China since January 17, 2022.
