Trailer: In Our Prime by Park Dong-hoon

A new film is a cinematic event unto itself and 2022 seems like it's going to be a bumper year for fans of the veteran actor. While his delayed “Heaven: To the Land of Happiness” is going on a strong festival run, his newest “” is gearing up for a theatrical release.

Synopsis

Ji-woo, an outcast in a prestigious private high school, does not fit in due to different social backgrounds than his well-to-do classmates. One day, he meets Hak-seong, the school's security guard who is actually a mathematical genius defected from North Korea, now living with his past shut away. Ji-woo asks Hak-seong to teach him math, and although reluctant at first, Hak-seong eventually agrees to. Finding each other in their most difficult times, Ji-woo and Hak-seong open up to one another during their special math lessons, but their friendship is at risk when Ji-woo is framed for an incident in school, and Hak-seong is faced with people prying on his past.

Choi Min-sik will be teaching math to newcomer , who plays Ji-woo. Additionally, (“Believer”), (“Seobok”) and round up the cast. “In Our Prime” is scheduled for release on March 9th, 2022.

For as long as I can remember, I've been watching movies, but my introduction to Asian cinema was old rental VHS copies of Bruce Lee films and some Shaw Bros. martial arts extravaganzas.
