Minoru is the eldest son in a family of apple farmers from Nagano. He dreams of being a comedian, but his father is against it and expects Minoru to take over the family farm. Minoru goes to Tokyo every weekend to perform, although it causes problems back home with his father. Now Minoru has to make the decision between pursuing his dreams as a comedian or taking over the family farm.
