Shadow Fist 2 ”Axe Gang” Brings Old School Martial Arts Back

Cast: Andre Duza, Marco Johnson, Anthony Scanish, Elise Greeve, Raymond H. Blong,

Directed By: Robert Samuels,

Produced By: Reese Tanaka

: AxeGang is the latest movie from Director's Robert Samuels and Robert Jefferson and it certainly packs a punch. Deviant Children Productions, teams up with Tambuli Media in association with R4 Films, bringing the audience top class fight choreography, mixing old school kung fu (shapes) with a new wave of filmmakIng.

Shadow Fist 1 was received very well with Kung Fu fans when released a few years ago, with many saying it was a fresh take on the old school movies from Shaw Brothers. Shadow Fist 2 delivers even more high energy, martial art sequences, we get to see Drunken Boxing Vs Karate (One of my favourite fights), giving a nice nod to Jackie Chan in Drunken Master.

The choreography for the axe fights were very well done, the camera work during the fight sequences captured the movements perfectly and took me back to early Shaws movies like Boxer From Shantung. One of my favourite lines “Find Them, bring me the scroll . Leave No one alive

Fans of Martial Art movies will find lots to like about Shadow Fist 2: Axe Gang, everyone involved really did a great job. The music to introduce the characters and to build the tension before the fights happen was a welcome feature and one this amazing group use well in other projects.

“The film is dedicated too Lau Chia Liang and Fu Sheng” – Robert Samuels

I very much enjoyed Shadow Fist 2 and look forward to the reaction the fans give when released. More information to come soon.
