The stars contiue to descend onto the small screen and “Big Bet” (previously known as ”Casino) is a blinder! The show, an original Disney+ production, not only sees director Kang Yoon-sung, known best for helming “The Outlaws”, make his tv debut, but he also brings the legendary Choi Min-sik, back on tv for the first time in 25 years, to lead a mouth-watering cast.
Synopsis
Not much is known in the way of an extended synopsis, but set within the background of a casino, the drama series follows the turbulent life of a man in the business.
While Choi Min-sik’s return to tv is reason enough to be excited about the series, he is not alone, with man-of-the-moment Son Suk-ku also playing an important role, and Lee Dong-hwi, Heo Sung-tae and Jin Sun-kyu also joining the cast. Set and shot in Philippines, ”Big Bet” premieres on Disney+ on November 23rd, 2022.
