On the occasion of Saleem screening at Annecy, we speak with Cynthia Madanat Sharaiha and the crew of the movie (Jonathan Reaux – director of animation, Dolly Dib – the voice of Miss Amal, and Shadi Sharaiha – Producer) about the inspiration behind the film, using an animation and a children's movie to talk about trauma and the consequences of war, the animation, the voice acting, the production and many other topics.
