Haruki Murakami’s New Collection of Short Stories to Be Published This July

Prominent Japanese author (“Norwegian Wood“, “The Wind up Bird Chronicles”) is set to have a new collection of short stories published titled First-Person Singular.

“Haruki Murakami's new collection of short stories will be released on July 18, the internationally renowned author's first such anthology in six years, publisher Bungeishunju announced on June 4. The anthology is titled “Ichininsho Tansu” (First-person singular), which follows “Men Without Women,” published in 2014. The new book will mark Murakami's first work since his novel “Killing Commendatore,” which was published three years ago.” (The Asahi Shimbun)
