Monthly Indie Shorts – December selection announced

4 Asian shorts from across the Asian continent will feature in this month's selection.

Monthly Indie Shorts Film Festival – a festival that awards shorts every month to select submissions – announced this month's contenders. With only four films, Asian entries make up only a fraction of this month's selection. The entries come from far-reaching lands, however; from the UAE to Japan, the December entries seem to span across the entire Asian continent.

Synopsis: The plot revolves around a guy trying to order a pizza.Two of his ‘alter egos' worsen the situation.

Synopsis : Kathir & Yathu are siblings under the care of their mother with their father's demise. Their father was a Nadaswaram (Indian classical instrument) at a nearby temple for decades. He passed the knowledge to his offspring and now Kathir & Yathu are continuing the family tradition and business. Their mother is serving as an assistant cook in the same temple. Performing and serving at the temple remunerates their monthly expenses. Occasionally, Kathir performs at external events too.Kathir had received a hefty deposit for an external event and planned to resolve some family needs when an unexpected event occurred.
Yathu had reached puberty. As per Hindu customs, women under menstrual cycle are not allowed to be involved in religious matters hindering Yathu from being able to perform for the external event.

Synopsis :  At the point of locked-down, Tokyo of the near future. Here is a place that used to be a mecca for dates. Nowadays, there are few people walking. A girl is waiting alone for a man in such a place. But what appeared there is a gas mask monster. This is only a few minute story of “Poetic Silent SF Horror Love Romantic Comedy” about a date of a man and a girl.
