Kazuo Mido (Tsuyoshi Muro) is a pastor at a small church. Eight years ago, his wife passed away and he alone raises his daughter, Hikari (Noa Nakada), who is in junior high school. When Hikari falls ill with leukemia, he does everything he can to save he,r undergoing a drastic change in the process.
