Miki (Miku UEHARA) has just started working at a production company which produces variety TV programs. She is an assistant director on the 30-minute late night local TV show “This City and Me”, which features good points about the town. One day Miki goes out drinking with the director and producer, but ends up complaining about the show. The director Nakayama (Yoshinori MIYATA) tells her to try and direct the show herself putting her in charge of the on-the-street interviews. Miki grabs this opportunity by the horns and goes out looking for interesting people on the streets.

This film also goes by the title This City and Me and was screened at the 11th Okinawa International Movie Festival in 2019. It is written, edited and directed by Kazuo NAGAI based on his own true story of personal growth. Famous Swedish-Japanese TV personality LiLiCo appears as herself.
